How to set up automated reports

Learn which BESS insights you can share through automated reports and how to generate them step by step for your stakeholders.

Our automated reports help you access key BESS insights on demand which you can easily provide to your stakeholders.

Reporting is something that most people are required to do, whether for internal or external stakeholders, or for regulatory reasons. For example, providing reports to banks or insurance companies or getting monthly reports to see the asset's status. That's why we have introduced automated reporting, meaning you and your stakeholders receive key insights about your BESS directly to your email addresses.

What information can you see in the reports?

Our reports help you track key performance indicators relating to the health, safety and availability of your system.

You can choose to view the following aspects in the report (but don't need to choose everything):

  • State of Health distribution across components

  • Recoverable Energy

  • Safety Assessment - identifying how many components require action

  • Energy Throughput, measured in cycles.

  • Overview of daily charge and discharges

  • State of Charge Distribution

  • Warranty & Guarantee Breaches

  • Penalty Risk

This example shows how a monthly report can look:

You can choose to set up reports on a recurring basis, for example, getting a monthly report. Alternatively, you can choose to download a one-off report based on historical data, for example, the previous month.

Step by step guide to generate the reports

Step 1: Go to "Reports" on the navigation

Step 2: Click on the tab "Configuration", and choose whether you want to configure a recurring report, or create a one-off report based on historical data.

Step 3: Fill out the basic information, including the report name and add email recipients. If setting up a recurring report, choose the frequency of the report - daily, weekly or monthly. If setting up a historical report, you can choose the timeframe of the report - either daily, weekly, or monthly.

For the report content, you can choose from a drop-down list what information you want to see in the report. This list is constantly updated based on new features:

Step 4: Check your reports in the tab "History". You can also view the report immediately by clicking on the arrow, and you can download the reports from this overview anytime.
