They also provide a flexible way to monitor performance in one place using live, continuously updated data, without repeatedly navigating across multiple views. ### Overview Battery energy storage systems generate large volumes of data, and different stakeholders require different views of that data. Storage Dashboards enable you to: - **Monitor performance in real time** using a dashboard tailored to your needs - **Create role-specific views** based on relevant KPIs and insights - **Share dashboards** with stakeholders - **Reduce manual effort** when preparing and sharing insights Storage Dashboards complement existing features such as [Automated Reports](https://support.twaice.com/knowledge/deliver-key-insights-to-stakeholders-with-automated-reporting?hsLang=en), which are designed for scheduled and structured reporting. Personal and role-based dashboards You can create dashboards for your own daily work, as well as for specific stakeholder groups. Examples include: - A personal dashboard to monitor key KPIs and system status - An operations dashboard for real-time monitoring - An asset management dashboard for availability and performance tracking Each dashboard can be configured independently. ### 2. From monitoring to deep-dive analysis Dashboards can be used both for high-level monitoring and as a starting point for deeper analysis. You can include: - KPIs (e.g. availability, usable energy, imbalances) - Power flow visualizations - [Storage Hierarchy diagram](https://support.twaice.com/knowledge/visualize-your-bess-hierarchy-and-see-where-issues-occur?hsLang=en) - Map views - Saved Data Explorer views: Add charts from analyses you have previously created and saved in Data Explorer, making it easy to share deeper investigations on the dashboard - Customized images - Explanatory text or headings From a dashboard, users can navigate to more detailed analysis (e.g. via Data Explorer) when needed. ### Typical Use Cases - Daily monitoring: Track key KPIs and system status in one place - Operational workflows: Provide operations teams with real-time visibility - Share with stakeholders: Share performance views with investors, lenders, or partners - Internal alignment: Ensure all teams are working from the same data view - Complement reporting: Use alongside Automated Reports for scheduled reporting ### How It Works 1. Navigate to "Dashboards" in the menu 2. Click on "new dashboard", then "add widget" to start creating your dashboard. Alternatively you can also amend existing dashboards. You can also bookmark the link to quickly access only the information that matters to you and your stakeholders.
